Charlie here! Great to be back to work at the centre and at the reigns of the the digital media and marketing again!
🍁 With another productive week drawing to a close, we wanted to share some of the highlights and celebrations that 🍂 occurred!
As we prepare for the change in seasons — bidding farewell to the fleeting Scottish sunshine and welcoming back the familiar autumn rain — we are all buckling down, ready for the months ahead!

👏 A special mention to our new volunteer, Ian Murray, who has raised an outstanding £1,000 for CVS through his recent fundraising efforts. Thank you for all your hard work Ian!
Behind the scenes (and in the kitchen!) Molly was hard at work, whipping up some great dishes, with her lamb curry being a standout! These hot and nutritious help get us through the week and most importantly are free of charge to all veterans.
Upcoming Event
Looking forward, we’re pleased to highlight the Glasgow Barons’ Autumn Chamber Music Series, which will be taking place from September through to December. The series has a fantastic line-up of performances, which promises to be a great opportunity for music lovers and welcome addition to Govan's autumn events! 🎶
Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.
