Operation Renovation
🪜 Update 🪜
After a trip to B&Q to pick up all the essentials - the centre began carefully preparing their plan of action for Operation Renovation - Officially kicking off next week! Another huge step in helping to create a brighter, and even more welcoming environment!

Grannied! 🎱
This week saw yet another inductee into our 'Wall of Grannies' - Eddie! After a tough battle up against Steve, he unfortunately found himself 'between a rock and a hard place', as the expression goes, and is had to don the famous Granny Cap for the rest of the day - All in good faith, as always, with plenty of laughs coming from the centre, including Eddie and Steve themselves! 👵

Special Mentions
The centre was ‘all hands-on deck’ on Tuesday as we received a food delivery from our great friends at FareShare - continuing our ongoing relationship with them and supporting the work they do for the local community in overcoming food poverty and tackling food waste. The food we receive goes a long way, providing our veterans with necessary items in food parcels 🛒
Exciting news this week as our very own Govan Bridge has been all the hustle and bustle - setting up for a small film set - with a sprawling market and stalls popping up outside the Riverside Museum - Great to see our local area featured in the limelight 🎥
Friday, as always, welcomed our legendary Friday Fry Up – Jimmy and John with their chefs’ hats on manning the kitchen – thank you lads! 🍳
Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.
Community Veterans Support, here for you. A warm welcome and a soft landing guaranteed.
