🚧 Operation Renovation 🚧
We executed the first stages of Operation Renovation this week by giving the walls of our building a much-needed facelift, tackling small holes and cracks with some good old-fashioned plastering. Once the guys have completed this stage, we’ll be ready to add a fresh coat of paint, bringing new life to the place, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors!
Birthday Celebrations 🎉
Birthday celebrations are coming in thick and fast this time of the year here at the centre! Our most recent celebration was for another of our wonderful regulars, Jimmy Smith! Jimmy has been a great advocate for the centre, frequently coming in and always providing a good laugh - A massive Happy Birthday to you Jimmy! Here's to many more in the future!

Scoff and Banter returned with a bang 💥
After our brief hiatus, we welcomed back all the familiar, and new faces! the evening was spent in great company, sharing laughs, friendly competition and putting on our best karaoke hats 🎤

Exciting news was announced as SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, and Veterans' Foundation have come together for yet another season of their free walking football programme - Glasgow Veterans United! ⚽️
We received some excellent resources, passed to us by our great friends at Veterans Scotland, regarding advice on how to reduce fuel bills, save energy and create a more cost-effective, warm household! Despite heading into Summer, it is always important to have ensure you are prepared for the future and have plans in place to keep you warm and safe during the winter season ⛽️
Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.
