Another busy month at the centre, from partner visits to valuable training sessions - Find out below everything we got up to in the month of July!

We were delighted to welcome the Minister for Veterans, Jamie Hepburn for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth MSP, in our Quiet Room this month.

The visit reflects our ongoing partnership with Venture Trust and our shared commitment to supporting the veteran community.

Shout out to Barber Graeme for his visit, and sorting everyone out!

We welcomed Mark and Abigail from Venture Trust to the centre to hear about the relaunch of their Outdoor Therapy service for veterans across Greater Glasgow.

Our staff attended the recent launch of Advocacy.Scot by advice.scot.

It was great to learn all about this new service, which helps bring independent advocacy support, ranging from individual rights to accessing appropriate services, closer to those who need it most.

We were delighted to welcome Charlotte Robb from Scottish Drugs Forum to the Centre to deliver a drug awareness training day for staff and veteran volunteers. It was a stimulating and, at times, challenging day!

Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.

Community Veterans Support, here for you. A warm welcome and a soft landing guaranteed.
