🍃 Wellbeing Walk - Loch Thom Loop 🍃
Our Thursday Wellbeing Walk around Loch Thom fostered and supported positive mental and physical wellbeing by just being outdoors in good company.

The walk took us to some fantastic viewpoints and reminded us that there is so much wilderness to explore just outside the city.

Special Mentions
We participated in the Firmbase meeting at Glasgow City Chambers, advocating for veterans in Greater Glasgow.

“Scoff & Banter" hosted by our veterans for our local community continues to strengthen community ties with free food, games, and karaoke.

A new restoration project will soon begin with a donated motorboat. Watch this space.

Oh, and a massive happy birthday to Pete!

Scoff and Banter
Thursday evening saw another successful Scoff & Banter, our weekly community event hosted by our veterans - over 2 years and still growing strong!

The evening featured a delightful meal, complemented by Bingo and Karaoke activities, which everyone eagerly participated in and thoroughly enjoyed. It was once again, a fantastic opportunity for people to connect, share laughter, and create lasting memories in a warm and welcoming atmosphere all at no cost, generously funded by Veterans Scotland. Thank you Govan!

Friday Fryup 🍳
Jim and John for stepped up this week serving up yet another excellent Scottish Breakfast! Thank you both!

Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.

Community Veterans Support, here for you. A warm welcome and a soft landing guaranteed.
