Packed week as ever following on from VJ Day commemorations.
Great free hot food, Monday to Friday as ever, pool, brutal banter and general enjoying each others company.
Thursday's Wellbeing Walk saw our intrepid troopers heading around a circular walk that took in Gleniffer Braes and Loch. As ever, free to ANY veteran including transport and lunch.
Thursday also means Scoff & Banter. 16:00 to 19:00 every Thursday where with our friends from the local community we enjoy a cracking evening of controlled chaos - food, free prize bingo and Kamikaze Karaoke!
Grateful thanks to George Tosh for the massive airdrop of books and DVD's he donated last week to our veterans. Thanks George, they are already finding good homes. Full disclosure: I unashamedly grabbed a slack handful of Commando Comics.
Today we entered the weekend with the CVS weekend hack - wash/dry your kit, have a great free brunch with hot rolls, pastry, coffee, tea and fruit juice. Kick back, enjoy the company and coast into the weekend...
Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.
