Weekly Roundup: 22nd - 26th September 2025
Vol. 29

A fierce pool competition, some more cracking scran, and, as usual, brutal banter!

Tam, having recently purchased a new pool cue, presented Jimmy and Alex with the opportunity to win his old cue — "Titanium"! The match saw them battle it out in a best-of-three frames. Ultimately, Jimmy came out on top, walking off with Titanium and a grin on his face!

Alex brought in his limited-edition Coronation Rum, presented in an impressive Kukri bottle. We all admired the effort that went into the packaging but didn’t have any, as Alex is waiting for a “special moment" to crack it!

Colin kindly dropped off some pieces for the centre, including a chess set and set of war stories - including some absolute classics like ‘The Great Escape’, ‘The Dirty Dozen’ and ‘The Colditz Story’

Molly's theme this week focused on homely recipes, whipping up a cracking roast complete with all the trimmings—even Yorkshire puddings! Sticking with the theme, she also sorted everyone out with a chicken curry and shepherd’s pie! 🍲

Scoff & Banter welcomed everyone together sharing great banter, food and of course our usual schedule of a Quiz, hosted by Denise, Bingo and Kamikaze Karaoke! Thanks to everyone who joined us! 🎤
