We wrapped up a shorter week than usual due to the September Bank Holiday - despite this however, there is always still plenty to recap at CVS!
Eddie found himself wearing our coveted 'Granny Hat' after playing a game of pool against Billy! He took it in good faith and everyone was there to ensure the hat remained on all day (of course)! We'll find a nice spot for Eddie on our 'Granny Wall of Fame' alongside our other inductees! 🎱
Another great Scoff & Banter as Molly whipped up homemade soup, Tikka Masala and Veggie Tikka Masala that didn’t disappoint, Jimmy was, yet again, his best Bingo hosting self, Heather’s quiz got all our brains working overtime and Kamikaze Karaoke topped off yet another successful evening! 🧠🎤📋
Looking ahead to next week, we will be taking a trip to Fife to visit Scotlands Secret Underground Nuclear Command Centre on Wednesday the 8th! As with every trip, spaces are limited to a first come, first serve basis with both transport and lunch included free of charge! If you are interested in this, please get in touch with a member of staff ☢️
Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.
