CVS Staff were out and about last week, paying two brief, but useful site visits to potential partner organisations last week, Operation Cairngorms CIC and Line of Sight Ranges. More to follow! 🎯
Restocked
Earlier this week we were hard at work restocking our pantry with essential items that help make up emergency food parcels. These parcels are a key offering at CVS, allowing us to further support our veteran members 🛒
Alex brought in his skull and crossbones flag, which he flew during his time in the Navy and with it shared some great stories with everyone! 🏴☠️
Everyone was treated to some cracking meals, including a homemade apple crumble and spaghetti and meatballs! These are great examples of the hot meals CVS provide 5 days a week, free of charge, to all of our veterans 🍝
CVS was represented at yesterday Scotland's Veterans Wellbeing Alliance Day conference in Edinburgh Napier University veterans research faculty. CVS are now in its 3rd year of working with this Veterans Alliance 🎖️
Reminder that our doors open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. As always, breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, followed by a free hot lunch at 12:30 PM for any veteran.
